I am so sick. Like, honestly. My head feels like it's going to explode. Thank God my exams are over. I had two today and was supposed to go to a Kennedy youth meeting thing but I was feeling so crappy that I decided to skip it and come home, and my parents are like, you look terrible. Wow. So anyhow. My exams today were okay; my first one (histoire du monde depuis 1900) was harder than I expected but then my World War Two exam was much easier than I expected. Forty multiple choice and then a section where we had to pick ten terms out of fifteen to identify and describe it's significance in WWII. Stuff like 'apeasement', 'Pearl Harbor', 'Blitzkrieg'. Sweet. But yeah. Time for bed, maybe I can get my head to stop pounding before I go to work tomorrow. Baah. Loving the freedom!

There is nothing I like more (at the moment, anyhow) than just sitting and watching old war movies. I mean, right now, I can actually say that I'm studying for my World War II final, right? The older ones are actually supremely historically accurate. Sweet! Yah for Operation Market Garden, except not, because it was actually a terrible disaster. Didn't learn the lesson from Dieppe, eh boys? What an incredible failure. Sean Connery is in this one. So is Anthony Hopkins, but I don't see him anywhere...Anyhow. I went to a baby shower for one of my co-workers and it was super fun. The baby is soo cute, just seven weeks old and huge!Well, not huge, but long. Her parents are both over six feet, so that baby is going to be super tall as well. So adorable. Did the baking that I was supposed to do for the shower this morning, cause it was the only chance that I got to do it. Turned out alright though, everyone said that my cookies were good, which is always a good sign.

Not too much to say, been pretty busy with studying and such. Lots of stuff happening nonetheless. I worked the afternoon shift and it was super busy. One of my classmates came in and apparently he's going to be studying in Spain (!) next year! Sounds soo sweet. Helped out one of my coworkers who is in the same WWII history class as I am, which is always good fun.Tee hee, nudge nudge. Anyhow, I should really get to sleep. I have to get up early to drive my brother to work so that I can have the car for when I go to work. Bah, humbug. Ah well.

Oh yeah! I got my hair cut and it's prettyful. Well, I like it anyways. And I dyed it tonight too, it's super blond, not quite the colour that I wanted it to be but it makes my eyes look really green. Anyhow, I'll stop being so narcissistic and get to sleep. Hope that everyone is doing well with the studying for the finals; it'll all over soon! Going out for drinks on Wednesday night with the Kennedy group, should be good times. Going to try to convince Aaron to come; he's been wanting to get involved with the AYL. G'night!

Hmm. A lot of randomness going down lately. But good news; I got pretty soccer cleats! Adidas, white with blue/grey stripes. They were only seventy dollars, which is always good in my books. Good Easter weekend, lots of working, a bit of studying. And, of course, the magical soccer cleats. Which, evidentally, will be tested out tomorrow night at soccer practise. Sounds sweet. Well, time to find something to eat before I have to drive to work. My parents took pity on me because of the crappy holiday bus schedule and let me have the car tonight for work. So I (naturally) have time to grab a timmies' coffee on the way oh! I finally won! Those stupid roll up the rim to win things, I finally won a free coffee! My dad keeps winning that on the coffees that he gets for free for being a cop and he keeps giving them to me, and I finally won one. Anyhow. I'm hungry, hope that everyone had a fantastic Easter and that everyone has a good go at their exams. Ta.

Grr. I'm in a bad mood. I was so happy this morning; got to wear capris, nice weather, got an A on my history paper. Sweetness. Stupid french. Grr. They have this thing for my course where we go to the computer lab and the monitrices from the CCOE (centre de communication orale et ecrite) come and correct these activities we do online; we have to do each activity a certain number of times without any mistakes. I guess I'm just really tired or something because for some reason my incompetence really frustrated me today. Grr. Days like this I don't want any human contact, and of course, days like this my entire freaking family is always home. Then tomorrow I have to talk about the LPCA convention in sc po because my prof saw me there. That'll be fun; I can put in a plug for Stephane Dion (I've decided to support his leadership attempt). Dion is sooo much better than Iggy! (just jokes; may the best man win!)

Whoa. Awesome weekend. LPCA conventions rule!!! Saw my poli sci teach yesterday at the tribut to old annie, which was supremely random because he unknowingly sat next to me, then talked with him tonight and apparently he wants to run for something eventually. Have to get up early to go and vote for George because he's special! I took a cab home because i couln'dt walk straight and I was going to take the bus but the pedways are closed! and then I took a cab, and then we were in my crescent and my dad pulls up in his cop car! it was so weird. and then the next door neighbours were having a thing and they saw me going through the side door in my suit and gave me a strange look cause they saw me talking to the cop and the guy said hello, which was weird because he's never said hello before. Lots of networking this weekend, Gerard Kennedy is bloddy fantastic. going to be an international country and we're going to abolish poverty!!!!!! Stephane dion is too shy to be leader. Michael Ignatieff won't admit to russian aristocracy and I was almost named women's commision vice president but I looked down when she was going to nominate me. Safe! I have to get up early. I'm not soused. I'm merely enjoyed a few drinks with some liberal and AYL people. It was actually sweet.Good times for all, no way am I going to be shy!! Time to sleep, but when I close my eyes the world spins. Maybe eating? Bye!!!

What the frick.

I've worked every day since Wednesday and was therefore absolutely bushed, so when I got home from work today I decided that I would take a nap before I started on my mother of a paper. Turned out to be a five fricking hour nap that i just woke up from an hour ago. Not great. Now i'm more awake than I've been in weeks, but i'm still yawning? Just realised that I actually have to drink twice as much coffee as I used to to get the same effect as it used to have. I hate daylight savings time-well, the 'spring ahead' part. Supid fascist institution makes me lose an hour of sleep and go to work super early. Bah.

Oh! I finally got to hold Jessica's baby! She's the cutest little thing; I want one! Haha, the look on my mom's face when I said that to her was priceless. But she's so adorable, she makes little cooing sounds and sticks her tongue out and smiles (it isn't just gas!). Tee hee. It's been super busy at work lately. I actually don't have much to say. Had super good rant session friday night/saturday morning and am feeling much better, much less emotional anyways. Figure it will all work out as far as guys go, do not need any nonsense...right? Time to get back to paper before it starts to feel neglected...
